Reflection, and Gearing Up

This evening, we gathered for the kickoff of our one-year mentorship program for young men, Iron Threads. We came together to explore how this program can shape lives, deepen faith, and cultivate biblical manhood. A Vision for Growth

During the event, we outlined the heart of the program: helping young men grow into biblical manhood…men who reflect Christ in their character, purpose and relationships. This isn’t just about checking boxes – it’s about embracing a commitment to spiritual growth, accountability, and practical wisdom.

The program will include mentorship from seasoned men, group discussions, Bible study, and real-world challenges designed to build resilience and faith. It’s a big commitment—time, effort, and vulnerability are required, but the rewards are eternal: stronger faith, deeper relationships, and a clearer sense of God’s purpose for your life.

A Call to Prayer, and Next Steps

We asked everyone at the kickoff to take a step back and pray about joining. This isn’t a decision to make lightly. The program will stretch you, challenge you, and ask you to lean into God’s strength. But as Proverbs 27:17 reminds us, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” The growth that comes from this community and commitment can be life changing.

As you pray, consider the potential impact: not just on your own life, but on your family, friends, and future generations. Godly men don’t just happen—they’re forged through intentional pursuit of God and His will for your life.

If you’re feeling called to join, please read through the covenant one more time and commit in your heart to all that is being asked. It is no small thing to enter into a covenant. For those still undecided, keep praying and seek counsel from trusted mentors or family. We believe God will guide you to the right decision. And if you’re ready to dive in, we’re excited to walk alongside you in this journey toward biblical manhood.

Our first Thread Session is scheduled for May 25th. Please bring a signed copy of the Iron Threads Covenant, a signed waiver and a completed background questionnaire.

A Word of Encouragement

To each of you considering this program: You are not alone. God has a purpose for you, and He will equip you for it (Ephesians 2:10). This mentorship is a chance to step boldly into that calling, surrounded by brothers who will lift you up and point you to Christ. The road won’t always be easy, but it will be worth it.
